METHOD TO GROW SAFFLOWER IN CONDITIONS OF THE SOUTH OF UKRAINE

A method for growing safflower in conditions of the South of Ukraine provides for soil treatment after harvesting the yield of a preceding crop, sowing, cultivation of the crop, harvesting. Moisture accumulation in soil is carried out by levelling the tilled soil in autumn and by early spring cultivation applying herbicides. Moisture retaining in soil is carried out by rolling down the crops prior to sowing and after it.
