PURPOSE: An articulated shock absorbing handrail is provided to prevent noise by absorbing external shock applied to a rail and to minimize damage to components. CONSTITUTION: An articulated shock absorbing handrail comprises multiple posts(100), rails(200), articulated connecting units, and buffer members(400) having a rail spacer function. The posts are vertically positioned at the ground. The articulated connecting units connect both ends of the rails to the posts and comprise rail connectors(310,320) and two-degree-of-freedom connectors(330,340). The buffer members are inserted between the two-degree-of-freedom connectors and maintain the vertical intervals of the rails and reduce shock. |
