PURPOSE: A network camera and an object recognition method are provided to install a plurality of motion sensors in a camera at a specific angle. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit recognizes an image. A sensor unit includes one or more motion sensors(10,20). The sensor unit senses the motion in a predetermined viewing angle range. A control unit processes a signal which is received from the sensor. The control unit determines existence of an object based on the processed signal. A viewing angel is greater than an angle at which the motion sensor is able to sense. |
