RUBBING ROLLER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A rubbing roller and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to eliminate a need of forming a conductive metal layer which causes verdigris and easily discharge static electricity. CONSTITUTION: A rubbing roller(R2) is used in an alignment process of an alignment film of a liquid crystal display device substrate. The alignment film is formed on the liquid crystal display device substrate to coat a switching device or electrode installed on a surface. A rubbing cloth is attached to the surface of a conductive thermal curable resin layer. The conductive thermal curable resin layer is formed on the surface of a cylindrical carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The main material of the conductive thermal curable resin layer is an epoxy resin.
