APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING LEAKAGE LOCATION

PURPOSE: A device and a method for sensing a leaked position is provided to accurately sense the existence of a leakage and a leaked position of a pipe by using a venturi tube being arranged a position where a leakage is assumed on a real time basis when the leakage is generated by the deformity of the pipe or damage to a joint. CONSTITUTION: A device for sensing a leaked position comprises a venturi tube unit(110), a leakage sensing unit(120), a transferring unit(130), an air supplying unit(140), and a controlling unit(150). The venturi tube unit suctions an air sample of a portion where a leakage of a pipe is assumed. The leakage sensing unit senses leaked materials containing in the air sample suctioned by the ventri tube, thereby detecting the existence of the leakage. The transferring unit is connected to the venturi tube and the leakage sensing unit and forms a transferring path in between the venturi tube and leakage sensing unit. The air supplying unit supplies compressed air in the inside of the transferring unit, thereby generating a suction force and a transferring force of the air sample.
