PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to secure an image of high definition and to prevent blur of an image by heat when an image forming process is performed about a part of a recording sheet. CONSTITUTION: A fan(523) is installed in a second cover(50) of an image forming apparatus(1). The fan supplies air to a reverse return path(29). The second cover covers a part of the reverse return path. A fixing process is performed about a recording sheet. The recording sheet of high temperature is frozen by the fan.
