FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: in the base of a drive which generates small displacements, having at least a pair of interacting springs with different spring constants, the ratio of total deformation value of the two springs to the deformation value of the spring with the greater spring constant is equal to the ratio of the total spring constant of the two springs to the value of the smaller spring constant, wherein the greater displacement generated by the total deformation of the two springs is converted to a smaller displacement resulting from deformation of the spring with the greater spring constant, which is represented by the equation: where: S1 is the total deformation value of the two springs, S2 is the deformation value of the spring with the greater spring constant, C1 is the value of the smaller spring constant, C2 is the value of the greater spring constant. ^ EFFECT: design of a drive which generates small displacements. ^ 1 dwg |
