PURPOSE: A fixture for preventing damage to an exterior material using the elasticity of buffer springs installed on the top and bottom of a steel bridge bracket and a construction method of an exterior material using the same are provided to reduce vibration generated on a steel bridge using the elasticity of first and second buffer springs. CONSTITUTION: A fixture(100) for preventing damage to an exterior material using the elasticity of buffer springs installed on the top and bottom of a steel bridge bracket comprises a pair of pressing pieces(110), a steel bridge bracket(120), and first and second shock absorbing parts(130,140). The pressing pieces are connected to the bottom side protrusion(32) of a steel girder installed on the bottom of a deck of a steel bridge. The steel bridge bracket is coupled to the pressing pieces and has upper and lower fastening holes. The first and second shock absorbing parts are coupled to the top and bottom of the steel bridge bracket and reduce shock applied to an exterior material using elasticity.
