DIA-C-HBV IMMUNOENZYME TEST KIT FOR CONFIRMATION OF PRESENCE OF SURFACE ANTIGEN OF HEPATITIS B VIRUS (HBsAg)

A "DIA-C-HBV" immunoenzyme test kit for the confirmation of the presence of the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus (HBsAg) contains the monoclonal antibodies against the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus as part of both immunosorbent and conjugate. The analysis is provided in the paired wells. Upon the addition of undiluted samples of the sera and conjugate to both wells, the neutralizing component is added to one well of the pair. The neutralizing component represents anti-HBsAg monoclonal antibodies of specificity free of peroxidase. They inhibit the interaction between the conjugate and the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus decreasing the optical density of the sample.
