The invention relates to sampling mineral and organic raw material at sea shelf. A gravitational sampler comprises a device for orientation at deepening and fixation at the floor, it has shaft the lower end of which is arranged as a cone and rods, each of those is fixed in the upper section, with inclination from it, and the lower ones have anchors that are rigidly fixed to the shaft with orientation wings, those along with that act as ballast. Along the shaft a sampler moves, this has a removable core barrel with locking mechanism arranged as two tabs hinged at the lower end, those rotate independently one from another with respect to the axis of those by given angle within permitted by the supports. At immersion the tabs are in closed state, though due to water flow and mass of the sample those are opened in free way to a needed angle to provide free immersion or closing of the opening of the core barrel at lifting. The process of immersion and sampling takes place under effect of own weight of the device. The technical result is in that sampling from large depths is provided with guaranteed oriented immersion of the device; filled core barrel can be a removable container; high index of ecological safety is achieved, with decrease of the sample washing out at lifting to surface. |
