PURPOSE: An explosion-proof apparatus for minimizing the risk of explosion is provided to conspicuously reduce installation costs by keeping the energy flowing into electronic devices less than a fixed level with an energy restricting unit. CONSTITUTION: An explosion-proof apparatus comprises an electronic device(10), an industrial control device(20), a loop separating unit, and an energy restricting unit(30). The industrial control device is installed in a safety area and is electrically connected and interlocked with the electronic device. The loop separating unit is electrically connected between the electronic device and the industrial control device. The industrial control device supplies power to the electronic device. The energy restricting unit is installed in the safety area and is electrically connected between the electronic device and the industrial control device. The energy restricting unit restricts the electricity amount flowing between the industrial control device and the electronic device less than a fixed level.
