PURPOSE: An electrode terminal for a surface mounting type inductor and the surface mounting type inductor including the same are provided to reduce welding failures by welding a winding coil in the state of fixing to a welding terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second electrode terminals(300,400) include a base(310,410), a position fixing unit(320,420), a welding terminal(340,440), and a guide unit(330,430). The base is the shape of a rectangular plate. The position fixing unit is bent to upward to be extended from an edge section. The welding terminal is bent to be extended from other edge section of the short side part of the base. The guide unit is bent to upward to be extended from the long side part of the base.
