PURPOSE: An input apparatus, information processing apparatus, and input value acquisition method are provided to enable a user to variously manipulate an apparatus by receiving a hand manipulation input signal. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(14) and an information processing apparatus are stored in a housing unit. A touch panel(12) covers with the display unit. An input apparatus process information in the information processing apparatus by converting the connection point information of a touch panel into the control content of a user. The display unit displays a GUI(Graphic User Interface) screen on an OSD(On Screen Device) by arranging an index finger and a thumb on the display unit.
