PURPOSE: An electric connector is provided to reduce the height of a connector by shortening the entire length of an elastic arm unit by easily bending an electric connector. CONSTITUTION: When a mating connector(2) is inserted, an elastic arm unit(22) is interfered in a contact unit(22B). The elastic arm unit is elastically displaced in a right angle direction. The elastic arm unit slopes in a contact direction with the mating connector. A slope unit(22A) reduces the thickness of a board in a plate thickness direction. A boundary of the slope unit is used as a contact unit.
