PURPOSE: A roll assembly having an automatic adjusting device is provided to monitor the states of rolls by automatically measuring the rotating direction, inclination, and inclining direction of rotary shafts of the rolls. CONSTITUTION: A roll assembly comprises a mounting unit, which is arranged on the rotary shaft of a roll, and an automatic roll state measuring device(200). The automatic roll state measuring device comprises a housing(210) inserted in the mounting unit, a gyro sensor(220) installed inside the housing, a first level sensor(230) measuring the inclination of the roll, a second level sensor(240) measuring the inkling direction of the roll, and an output unit which outputs the inclination and inclining direction of the roll and the directivity of the rotary shaft of the roll. |
