PURPOSE: A steel material coating method using environmentally-friendly heavy anti-corrosive paint is provided to easily remove foreign materials from the surface of a steel material using high-pressure steam, a brush, and a dust collector. CONSTITUTION: A steel material coating method using environmentally-friendly heavy anti-corrosive paint comprises the steps of: removing foreign materials from the surface of a steel material of a bridge or construction by a surface treatment device using jet of high-pressure steam and a brush, sucking the foreign materials through a dust collector of the surface treatment device, applying an anti-corrosive primer containing zinc powder, a resin, a solvent, and a corrosion inhibitor on the surface of the steel material, applying heavy anti-corrosive paint on the primer surface, and applying a surface protective agent on the painted surface. The heavy anti-corrosive paint contains 55-65wt.% of water-soluble silicone acryl resin, 8-17wt.% of water, 10-20wt.% of a hardening agent, and 1-10wt.% of coloring pigment.
