PURPOSE: A treatment or prevention method of viral diseases of domestic animals is provided to minimize economic damages in farmhouse by preventing transmission of virus by killing the virus. CONSTITUTION: A treatment or prevention method of viral diseases of domestic animals comprises the following steps: feeding the domestic animals with fodder in which the organic acid is included; and generating chlorine dioxide inside the digesting organ of the domestic animals by feeding drinking water in which chlorite is dissolved. The organic acid is included to maintain pH of the drinking water as 6-7. The organic acid is citric acid, acetic acid or a mixture thereof. The chlorite is sodium chlorite, potassium chlorite or a mixture thereof. The organic acid is included in the fodder at an amount that the domestic animals ingest 0.1-5mg/kg per 1 hour. The domestic animal is pig, hen or duck. The drinking water in which the chlorite is dissolved is 100-500 micro liters of water having a chlorite concentration of 0.1-0.5%. The digesting organ is the stomach or the small intestine.
