The method involves providing an elongated excitation coil to excite an elongated magnetic core. A resilient or flexible magnetic field circulation sensor (1) is positioned in a circular or eight shaped loop around a primary driver e.g. outward driver (A) or return driver (B), according to a preset form from spatial distribution of field related to a form of driver and a specific formula, where the magnetic field resulting along the core is equal to or greater than a value of specific parameters such as measurement range of sensor and length/perimeter (L) of sensor, in the specific formula. An independent claim is also included for a system for measuring current circulating in a primary driver generating a primary field.
