The lace (1) has a tubular structure (11) made of deformable elastic fabric and forming patterns (Mi), where patterns include raised rings (Ti) and reduced sections (Ri). The rings have a section (S-T) greater than that of an eyelet (3) of a shoe when the lace or a segment of the lace is untensioned in a rest position. The raised rings are levelled with the eyelet, upon elongation of the lace, for allowing passage of the rings in the eyelet while ensuring elastic resumption of the form of the rings and blocking of one of the rings against the eyelet.
