The seat (5) has a displacement unit (20) manually controlled to place a carrying assembly (10) in an adjustable comfort position with respect to a guide rail (15) based on an order of occupant of the seat during a cruising operation phase, where the comfort position lies between a predetermined nominal position and an extreme position. A manual recall unit i.e. displacement button (21), automatically places the seat in the nominal position during a nominal operation phase independent of occupation of the seat. The button is connected to a motor for controlling displacement of the assembly. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
