PURPOSE: An iron scrap compression apparatus is provided to reduce electric energy consumption by using a through hole formed in the center portion of a lump of scrap metal for rapid melting. CONSTITUTION: An iron scrap compression apparatus comprises side pressing units(10), main pressing units(15), a cover(20), and a center rod(23). The side pressing units are installed symmetrically at the left and right ends of the inner part of a case(19). The main pressing units are installed in the front and the rear portion of the apparatus vertically. The case is formed in the upper portion of the case and opened/closed based on the left and right ends of the upper portion of the case. The center rod is formed in the center portion of the side pressing units and vertically projected upward on the bottom side of the case. |
