PURPOSE: A shielding apparatus for an LCD glass crate capable of easily opening and closing a shielding unit is provided to prevent the inflow of foreign materials into the crate during storage or transporting processes. CONSTITUTION: A shielding apparatus for an LCD glass crate comprises the following: a shielding unit(111) sliding toward the left and right directions of the crate(100) for opening and closing the upper side and the front side of the crate; an operation unit moving the shielding unit; plural shielding bars(116, 117) covering the upper and front sides of the crate; a guide rail(119) installed on the front end of a horizontal supporter and the upper side of a vertical supporter of the crate; a guide block(118) fixed to the upper and lower sides of the shielding bars to be combined to the guide rail; a link foldably connected to the inner surface of the shielding bars; and a shielding film(122) preventing the insertion of rainwater, snow, and other foreign materials by being fixed to the outer surface of the shielding bars.
