PURPOSE: A module for managing driving power by regenerative braking of an electric vehicle and a method thereof are provided to improve charging efficiency by preventing an unbalanced voltage from a battery. CONSTITUTION: A drive motor(100) transfers driving force to an electric vehicle. A main battery(200) provides power to the drive motor. The main battery includes a plurality of battery cells. A sub battery(300) stores the power generated from the drive motor in the braking or deceleration of the electric vehicle. A switching unit(400) connects the drive motor with the main battery or the sub battery.
