<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity of a protection cover of a desktop cutter or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The desktop cutter comprises: a cutting part 8 having a base part 107 constituted of a base 1 on which a material 41 to be cut can be placed and a turntable 2, a cutting blade 10 for cutting the material 41 to be cut, a saw cover 12 which rotatably supports the cutting blade 10 and covers an outer periphery of the upper part of the cutting blade 10, and the protection cover 37 which covers an outer periphery of the lower part of the cutting blade 10 and is arranged at the saw cover 12 so as to be turnable; and a supporting member 108 which supports the cutting part 8 so as to be inclined with respect to the base part 107, and supports the cutting part so as to be oscillatory so that it approaches and separates from the base part 107. Also at the desktop cutter, there is formed an abutment part 105 which is arranged one side face of either the saw cover 12 or the protection cover 37, and can abut on the other side face opposing the one side face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
