SLATE-COVERED ROOF REPAIRING CLAMP FITTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a slate-covered roof repairing technique for enabling easy and firm mounting of an existing slate roof material to a fixing hook bolt and inexpensive and stable mounting (construction) of a repairing metal bent roof material thereon.

SOLUTION: This clamp fitting is provided for covering a round protruded part of an existing slate-covered roof with the metal bent roof material disposed thereon. It includes a fitting body bent into a cross-section grooved form to show a gutter-shape. At the approximate center in the longitudinal direction of the gutter-shaped fitting body, a fastener storage recessed part is formed which is bent at a depth greater than the height of a fastener. In the bottom wall of the recessed part, an elliptical bolt insertion hole long in the cross direction is formed.
