The invention relates to a method for detecting target objects in an image sequence of a surveillance region (3), wherein interfering contributions are eliminated from pixel values of images (7) of the image sequence, wherein the interfering contributions are generated by at least one interfering object (5) contained in the surveillance region (3), and wherein the target objects are sought in the image sequence on the basis of the corrected pixel values, wherein a beginning of a predefined movement sequence of the interfering object (5) is detected, during the movement sequence an instantaneous position of the interfering object (5) within the images is determined and the instantaneous position of the interfering object (5) is taken into account when eliminating the interfering contributions of the interfering object (5) from the pixel values. The invention additionally relates to a system for carrying out a method of this type, and to a vehicle comprising such a system. |
