Provided is a method for manufacturing a rotor comprising a magnet assembly using split permanent magnet pieces to be highly insulative and cost-reducing, according to which a permanent magnet (50) is split to form permanent magnet pieces (60), the permanent magnet pieces (60) are resin-molded side by side to form a magnet assembly (40), and the magnet assembly (40) is arranged at a rotor (10), the magnet assembly (40) being formed by collecting and arranging the permanent magnet pieces (60) in a mold (200) used for the resin-molding and moving the permanent magnet pieces (60) in the mold (200) by using a transporting medium disposed at the mold (200) to move the permanent magnet pieces (60).
