Junction box of a solar cell arrangement, in particular of a solar module with a large number of solar cells connected to one another in a plurality of strings, wherein the junction box comprises a lower part and an upper part, which is separate from the lower part and is connected mechanically to the lower part, and first contact elements, of which some are connected in the fitted state to the solar cells and of which two are connected to a connection cable of the solar cell arrangement, are arranged in one of the lower part and upper part, and second contact elements, which are connected to one another and in the fitted state make electrical contact between the first contact elements and connect said first contact elements to one another, and at least one electronic functional element for implementing at least one additional function for at least one part of the solar cell are arranged in the other of the lower part and upper part in such a way that the functional element in the fitted state is introduced at least functionally into the solar cell arrangement. |
