The device (1) has punching needles (37) including a needle holder, and a fastening unit fastening the needle holder with needles at a needle bar of a sewing machine. A blank holder (33) is formed with a sole (35) for holding a workpiece while withdrawing the needles, which connects the blank holder with a presser bar of the sewing machine. A tubular body enclosing the needles is formed as a finger guard, and the blank holder is formed by the sole of the body, fastened to a support (3) and vertically adjusted with an adjustable screw (15) with respect to the support. The tubular body consists of a metallic and plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a needle plate for a sewing machine, comprising a pin hole. |
