<p>A method for processing contact person information is provided by the present invention. The method includes the steps: presetting a family name queue and a first name queue according to a sequence of usage frequency and storing the queues. The method also includes the steps: judging what the user inputs is a family name or a first name when logging, searching the corresponding family name queue or the corresponding first name queue according to the judgment result, and displaying Chinese characters for user selecting in form of queue sequence; mapping the initial character of phonetic of the family name and the first name to the initial character of key of the mobile terminal after the contact person name is inputted, and storing the mapping result and the corresponding name in the preset name queue together. A mobile terminal is also provided by the present invention at the same time. By applying the method and the mobile terminal, the speed for logging contact person information is increased, the pressing key times of a user is decreased and the user experience is improved.</p> |
