The pump (2) has a chamber provided with an input channel (25) and an output channel (24). Actuation units (23) are connected with membranes (22) of the pump, where the actuation units are designed as linear actuators i.e. piezoelectric actuators. A shutoff valve (14) of a coating material dosing system (1) is provided between a coating die (12) of the system and the output channel of the chamber. A container valve i.e. mechanical non return valve (17), is provided between the input channel and a coating material container (10).
