METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR POWER HEADROOM REPORT

PURPOSE: A PHR(Power Headroom Report) method of a portable terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently report the amount of available transmission power of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(1105) performs communication with a base station. A carrier activation controller(1110) determines whether there is trigger of PHR according to P-MPR at two points. The carrier activation controller generates available transmission power information in case of triggering the PHR. The carrier activation controller informs a base station about available power report information.
