PROTECTOR, PROTECTOR BOARD USING THE SAME, MONITORING UNIT FOR PROTECTOR AND MONITORING SYSTEM FOR PROTECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector which protects facility equipment and accurately detects a surge current such as thunder, and to allow a plurality of protectors to be easily monitored at one time.

SOLUTION: A protector 1 comprises a protection circuit 40 for suppressing the surge current penetrating into a conducting wire 35 connected to an earth terminal 25; and an operation display device 100 which detects the surge current flowing in the conducting wire 35 and displays an operation state of the protection circuit 40. The operation display device 100 comprises: a detection part 110 which has a detection coil for detecting the surge current flowing in the conducting wire 35; a waveform processing part 120 which extends a waveform of a detection voltage detected by the detection coil thereof with respect to a time axis and outputs a deformed waveform; a control part 130 which calculates a current value of the surge current from a voltage value of the deformed waveform and obtains a result of the calculation of the surge current; and a display part 140. The display part 140 displays the result of the calculation of the surge current in a state visible from the outside.
