<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect meandering of a web with high precision in an image recorder. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recorder, a first photoelectric area sensor is located in a width direction of the web over a range where a lateral portion edge and a plurality of holes of the web pass, in an output time series 81 indicating a received light amount of a first photoelectric area sensor, a plurality of correction target ranges 84 corresponding to the plurality of holes of the web are extracted, and a light amount output of each of the correction target ranges 84 is corrected on the basis of a light amount output of an adjacent correction unnecessary range 85. Then, an amount of meandering of the web is calculated on the basis of a difference between the corrected output and a reference output. By this means, even in a portion where a hole is located at the lateral portion of the web, it is possible to calculate the amount of meandering of the web with high accuracy. As a result, it is possible to detect the meandering of the web with high accuracy over an entire range in a longitudinal direction and correct the meandering of the web with high accuracy by a meandering correcting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
