<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate transition between a normal operation state and a power saving operation state easily in a slave station communication device which is housed while being connected with a master station communication device over a PON. <P>SOLUTION: The slave station communication device connected with a master station communication device over a PON and housed under the control of the master station communication device comprises a communication control means for performing communication control of the slave station communication device by using a communication control circuit. The slave station communication device further comprises a power saving control means for operating the communication control circuit while saving power when compared with normal operation state, by partially or entirely resetting the power saving part, excepting the uplink direction frame holding part which performs processing of holding the frame of uplink direction from a slave station side network housed in the slave station communication device, on the communication control circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
