REINFORCING SHEET, AND INDUSTRIAL BELT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing sheet which improved in tensile strength in a length direction.

SOLUTION: The reinforcing sheet is formed by adhering and integrating, on one surface of a long nonwoven fabric, a plurality of narrow films over the whole length of the nonwoven fabric in a width direction of the nonwoven fabric at predetermined intervals. A thermoplastic polyester resin film in an amorphous state is supplied between a pair of rolls which are maintained at temperatures not higher than a glass transition temperature by 30°C and not lower than a glass transition temperature by 20°C, and subjected to draw stretching to obtain a draw stretched thermoplastic polyester resin film and then the draw stretched thermoplastic polyester resin film is cut in a stretching direction to obtain the narrow films.
