<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defecation aid which is easy to use in the state that a user is seated on a toilet seat, allows the user to put his or her strength into the abdomen in defecation, is compact and placed in a small toilet room, and is stable. <P>SOLUTION: The defecation aid includes two or more vertical support materials and horizontal bars provided between the vertical support materials, installation parts are provided which can be installed on a floor surface at both top and bottom ends of the vertical support materials, and the horizontal bars are provided at places close to either above or below from a central part in the axial direction of the vertical support members. There may be three or more vertical support materials, and horizontal bars may be provided among the vertical support materials. The vertical support materials and horizontal bars can be pipes, and granular bodies or fluid can be put in and out of the pipes.
