<p>A platinum-, palladium- or gold-based alloy comprises at least two other elements, which are metals or metalloids, each having a proportion of the alloy of at least 10 weight ppm. One of the other elements is boron. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) production of alloy by using a palladium-boron alloy; and (2) use of boron for curing platinum-, palladium- or gold-based alloy.</p>
