PARTICLE DISPERSION THAT CONTAINS COLORING COMPOUND, INKJET INK, AND THE METHOD OF PRODUCING THE PARTICLE DISPERSION THAT CONTAINS THE COLORING COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanoparticle that has a compound comprising three component: a leuco dye, a developer, and a discoloring agent, and that smoothly performs coloring and discoloring functions.

SOLUTION: A dispersion is formed by dispersing therein particles that have a core-shell structure having: the leuco dye, the developer, and the discoloring agent, as core components; and a vinyl resin, as a shell component. The particle has a particle diameter of 30 to 400 nm. The discoloring agent contains an aromatic fatty acid ester compound that has a melting point of 80°C or more and a solidifying point of 20°C or lower.
