<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new method for setting a route in consideration of health concerns of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device 100 for guiding a user A to a destination by displaying his/her current position on a map in a screen of a display device includes a road map information storage part 21 for storing road map information, a rest spot information storage part 22 for storing rest spot information which is information on rest spots showing spots where the user A can have a rest, and a user information storage part 23 for storing user information showing specific information on the user A (e.g., physical information, action history, preference information and recommended continuous travel distance corresponding to his/her travel way). The device 100 determines search criteria for rest spot information when the user A travels to the destination based on the user information, searches for rest spot information which can satisfy the determined search criteria, and searches for recommended route(s) via rest spots shown by the rest sport information searched for, based on the route map information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
