<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support making of a character bento in which nourishment and color are well balanced and also to exhibit an effect to dietary education in a composite image output device combining and outputting images of food materials. <P>SOLUTION: A composite image output device has a food database storing names of various food materials classified into seven (7) colors and five (5) kinds, images (textures), and the like while taking the balance of color and nourishment into account. When inputting an optional image having, for example, a popular character, the food materials corresponding to image parts of the input image GI, respectively, are determined so as to include all seven colors and five kinds with the color of each image part as a reference. In this case, the food material corresponding to the largest image part within the input image GI is determined from the food materials belonging to a first type [rice] of color of the image. Then, a composite image is generated in which the image parts of the input image GI are converted into the images (textures) of the determined food materials in accordance with the shapes of the image parts, and the composite image of the food material images according to the input image GI is displayed as a character bento image GC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
