<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the rotation of a tire of a caster by a low-cost and lightweight brake by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel 10 composed of a tire 11 and a hub 12 is held by a fork 14 so as to be rotated by a wheel shaft 13. A caster attaching plate 20 for holding the fork 14 so as to be rotated by a bearing 15 and a rotation shaft 17 is attached to a travelling bag etc. The brake 30 formed of a slender U-shaped elastic resin member is horizontally attached immediately above the tire 11 in right and left arms of the fork 14. Since the brake 30 is returned to a stable horizontal state as long as it is not operated, the rotation of the wheel 10 is not carelessly disturbed. When a friction section 33 of the center of the brake 30 is inserted, among the arms of the fork section 14 and the tire 11, by operating an operation section 31 of a tip of the brake 30, the rotation of the wheel 10 is stopped by a friction force for pinching the tire 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
