<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head unit and a liquid ejecting apparatus in which the rigidity of a head fixing member is improved, thereby the displacement of the liquid ejecting head is prevented, and an electric equipment portion is protected from the invasion of the liquid, thereby the reliability is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting head unit includes: a recording head 18 ejecting an ink; and a sub carriage 26 that has a head inserting opening in which the recording head 18 is inserted, and in which the recording head 18 is fixed at an opening edge part of the head inserting opening, wherein a box shape beam part 90 is disposed at the opening edge part. The box shape beam part 90 includes: a first wall part 91 having a side surface facing the head inserting opening; a second wall part 92 locating at an outer side than the first wall part 91 and opposing the first wall part 91; and a third wall part 93 connecting the first wall part 91 and the second wall part 92. A fixing hole 29 is disposed at a bottom part of a box shape space part 94 composed by the first to third wall parts 91-93, and a head fixing bolt 43a fixing the recording head 18 at the sub carriage 26 is inserted in the fixing hole 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
