NEW CYCLOSPORIN ANALOG MICROEMULSION PRECONCENTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclosporin formulation that has a low toxicity, retains a high level of bioavailability in no need of administration combined with other medicine.

SOLUTION: There are provided formulations containing cyclosporin analogs that are structurally similar to cyclosporin A, in particular isomeric mixtures of cyclosporin analogs that are structurally similar to cyclosporin A. The formulations form stable microemulsion preconcentrates and can provide superior drug bioavailability and/or can reduce one or more adverse effects associated with the administration of cyclosporin A. Methods for using and preparing the formulations are also disclosed.
