<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately predict the degree of curl of a recording medium to be generated by ejection of liquid to the recording medium in a liquid droplet ejection apparatus that includes a liquid droplet ejection head to eject the liquid based on the liquid droplet discharge data in order to form the image to the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid droplet ejecting apparatus calculates the liquid quantity and the number of liquid droplets ejected in the evaluation area for each evaluation area defined on the recording medium by using the liquid droplet discharge data. Then, the degree of curl of the recording medium generated by the liquid ejected on the recording medium is calculated based on the position of the evaluation area in the recording medium and the liquid quantity and the number of liquid droplets ejected in the evaluation area. In addition, the liquid droplet ejection data is changed based on the calculated degree of curl.
