<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly absorb liquid in an absorber of a waste liquid tank. <P>SOLUTION: When an ink cartridge 5 is mounted to a cartridge mounting part 12, a slider 45 is moved by being pressed by the ink cartridge 5 at a pressing part 45b, and a worm gear 44 is rotated in one direction by the movement of the slider 45. The worm gear 44 is connected to a gear of a pulley 42 with a ratchet mechanism incorporated therein, and the whole of the pulley 42 rotates in one direction when the worm gear 44 is rotated in the one direction. When the pulley 42 rotates, a pulley 41 having a belt 43 wound around the pulley 42 and itself, and a rotary shaft 33 mounted to the pulley 41 are rotated. The rotary shaft 33 is inserted into an ink absorber 32 arranged in a waste liquid tank 9, and when the rotary shaft 33 is rotated, the ink absorber 32 is rotated integrally with the rotary shaft 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
