The invention relates to a bypass valve (5) of a device (1) through which a fluid medium flows and which has an adjustable flow resistance, consisting of a valve seat (53) and a valve body (52) which interacts with the valve seat (53), to which a preloading force is applied in the closing direction, and which can be moved in the opening direction by means of a pressure difference of the medium between the inflow side (10) and the outflow side (11) of the bypass valve (5), said pressure difference of the medium exceeding a specifiable threshold. A bypass flow path (50) which connects the inflow side (10) and the outflow side (11) of the bypass valve (5) runs through the valve seat (53), thereby bypassing the device (1). The bypass valve (5) according to the invention is characterized in that a screen element (4) is disposed in the bypass flow path (50) and in that the valve body (52) has two different open position ranges that are dependent on the pressure difference of the medium. The entire cross-section of the bypass flow path (50) is covered by the screen element (4) in a first range of the open position of the valve body (52) with a lower pressure difference of the medium, and additionally a screen-free bypass flow path cross-section (51) is released in a second range of the open position of the valve body (52) with a greater pressure difference of the medium. The invention further relates to a device (1) comprising such a bypass valve (5) and to a filter insert (3) of such device (1). |
