<p>A surface light source device (100) according to the present invention has a surface emitting light guide plate (15), a first light source (18), a second light source (101) and an angular intensity distribution shaping member (110). The surface emitting light guide plate (15) has a first light incident surface (15c) and emits as planar light (L14) , light beams (L11, L12) which are incident from the first light incident surface (15c). The first light source (18) is arranged opposite the first light incident surface (15c) and emits the first light beam (L11) toward the first light incident surface (15c). The second light source (L101) emits the second light beam (L12) which has a narrower angular intensity distribution than the first light beam (L11). The angular intensity distribution shaping member (110) has a second light incident surface (110a) and guides the second light beam (L12), which is incident from the second light incident surface (110a), to the first light incident surface (15c) while changing the angular intensity distribution of the second light beam (L12).</p> |
