摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrophoretic panel excellent in flatness in which the electrophoretic panel is not warped nor distorted due to shrinkage of the substrates when cooled and a whole display keeps flat even when the electrophoretic panel is manufactured by joining a first electrode substrate and a second electrode substrate having a different thermal expansion coefficient from the first electrode substrate in a heating process while making them face each other in a manufacturing process of the electrophoretic panel. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a step of forming a plurality of cells comprising insulating structural bodies on a first electrode substrate, a step of filling the cells with electrophoretic ink having a specific composition containing solvents such as a thinner, a step of forming an adhesive layer on an upper surface of the structural bodies, and a step of joining the first electrode substrate and the second electrode substrate by using the heating process. A part or whole of the face where the first substrate and the second substrate are brought into contact is tentatively adhered in advance, and then the whole face is joined by the heating process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
