<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens that excellently corrects aberration despite its small size and has a comparatively large imaging angle of view. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging lens, a positive first lens L1 having a biconvex shape near the optical axis, a negative second lens L2 having a biconcave shape near the optical axis, a positive third lens L3 having a meniscus shape with its concave face toward an object side near the optical axis, and a negative fourth lens L4 having a biconcave shape near the optical axis are arranged in this order from the object side. In this configuration, a conditional equation -0.7<f4/f<-0.1 is satisfied, where f denotes a focal length of the whole lens system, and f4 denotes a focal length of the fourth lens L4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
